BIRDWATCHING

Let one of our experienced guides take you on a spectacular walk to see some of Costa Rica’s most beautiful species of birds and other wildlife. Along the way to Playa El Rey, you will have a chance to see over 60 species of low land and marine birds, including Boat-billed harrings, Green breasted mango’s, Antwrens, and 5 species of King fishers. This is an easy walk and everyone will have a chance to relax at playa El Rey with snacks and refreshments.

What to bring: Swimsuit, towel, sun lotion, walking shoes, camera, and shorts.


DAMAS ISLAND MANGROVE TOUR

Seat back and relax on this informative tour as our guide explains the mangrove ecosystem and point out wild life as sloth, crocodiles, boas, white faced monkeys and egrets. The tour will stop at Damas Island to enjoy a “Tico” style lunch or dinner.
Specially recommended for senior citizens.

What to bring: Sun lotion, camera, and repellent.


DAMAS ISLAND SEA KAYAKING

Paddle protected inland waterways, a perfect place to learn this magical way of exploring coastal mangrove areas and seeing wildlife. None of this trip is in open ocean and the place of this trip is according to your abilities.

Requirements: Some experience and good physical condition.
What to bring: Swimsuit, towel, sun lotion, camera, and shorts.


HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR

This horseback riding tour is half day, where you will have a good opportunity to see the local countryside and jungle. Do not forget your bathing suit to take a swim in a beautiful waterfall on the way. For birdwatchers we recommend going in the afternoon for a better chance to see the toucans and some other exotic birds.

What to bring: Pants, hat, a change of clothes, insect repellent, sunscreen, and binoculars.


MANUEL ANTONIO COASTAL PADDLE

This a more challenging open ocean paddle along one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful coastlines from Quepos to Manuel Antonio National Park. Paddle by islands that are nesting sites for unique coastal bird life including boobies and frigate birds. Visit the secluded Biesanz Bay and surf kayak at Espadilla beach.

Requirements: Some experience and good physical condition.
What to bring: swimsuit, towel, sun lotion, camera, and shorts.


DOLPHIN WATCH COASTAL TOUR

Cruise this spectacular coastline from Quepos to the Manuel Antonio National Park in search of dolphins, sea turtles and unique bird life including boobies and frigate-birds which nest on islands believed to ancient Indian burial sites. The tour guide will explain the history of the Quepoa indigenous community and the geology of the area highlighting dramatic features such as blowholes beneath towering cliff and formation of the National Park. The tour include a visit to the secluded beach at Biezanz Bay for swimming and tropical snacks.

MANUEL ANTONIO NATIONAL PARK

This park is the most popular in Costa Rica with beautiful white sand beaches surrounded by emerald waters and jungle. Our naturalist guide will explain the history and geography of the area as well as help you get the most of your visit pointing out sloths, monkeys, birds and all kind of animals.

What to bring: Swimsuit, towel, sun lotion, walking shoes, camera, and shorts.


NARANJO WHITE WATER RAFTING

A class III and IV half-day challenge for more experienced paddlers. The Naranjo River drops steeply from the mountains above Quepos, through a beautiful jungle and takes you on a wild ride to sea level passing nearby farmlands and palm plantations. Water levels can rise quickly on this river upping the difficulty and adrenaline levels, so rafters should be physically fit and adventurous.

What to bring: Shorts, towel, and sun lotion.


NAUYACA WATERFALLS TOURS

Come with us to see the most beautiful waterfalls in the country! Cascading 25 & 40 meters into a 8 meters deep pool which is excellent for swimming. The horseback riding tour offers you a contact with nature and better chance of seeing wild life. Let us take you through the beautiful countryside between Quepos and Dominical, and then through a majestic forest and wonderful vistas of mountains of San Isidro.

RAIN MAKER

Rainmaker Canopy Walk is engineered to U.S. Standards, the six sections total 820 ft spanning from platforms attached to massive hardwood trees and reaching to heights over 180 ft above the waterfalls, to create the most impressive Canopy Walk in Costa Rica. The design allows minimal impact to the trees and forest below, providing guided tours, limited to eight guests, an opportunity to explore the majesty of the forest canopy from a birds eye view.

What to bring: Camera, binoculars, poncho, bathing suit, towel, hat, long pants.


RANCHO CASA GRANDE WALKING TOUR

Is an excellent way to explore the plants and animals in the mountainous jungles near Quepos. This easy walk takes you on partly shaded trails, allowing you to explore and discover nature at a leisurely pace. During this 2 hours walk, you will have a chance to see howler, white-faced and squire monkey’s along with sloths and a wide diversity of birds.

What to bring: Hat, a change of clothes, insect repellent, sunscreen, and binoculars.


RIVER WALK

This tour is a relatively comfortable walk along trails which weave trough cascading waterfalls and lush jungle landscape guided by Nature Interpreters who share their knowledge and enthusiasm with you along the way. Don’t forget to bring your bathing suit and towel you will have the opportunity to swim in cool crystal clear pools deep in the tropical rainforest.

SAVEGRE RIVER

This full day adventure includes an incredible journey which takes you into a very remote back country of the Rio Savegre for a 4 hour guided rafting trip with class II/III/IV rapids in rafts for 6 people or in a 2 man inflatable kayaks. There are great swimming holes and a large variety of birds and primary jungle (egrets, toucans, osprey, parrots, kingfishers, and cormorants). We will stop in a local village for lunch in a restaurant with great views and a nature path.

What to bring: Shorts, sun lotion and towel.


SUNSET SAILING CRUISE

The peace and serenity of sailing these pristine waters is an unforgettable experience and viewing the sunset from the deck while anchored in a beautiful secluded bay is truly romantic.

What to bring: Swimsuit, towel, camera, and beach clothes.


CANOPY TOUR

This trip offers the excitement of exploring the tropical canopy through a series of suspension platform, which are situated high above the forest floor. These platforms are connected by steel cables that have been specially designed for people to slide across, allowing you to discover the flora and fauna of the tropical forest first hand. You will have a chance to see a variety of animals, including howler and white-faced monkey’s, sloths and toucans.

What to bring: Hat, insect repellent, sunscreen, and binoculars.


PACIFIC ISLAND CRUISE
Approximate pick up time: 7:30 a.m

Experience the breathtaking waters of the Pacific Ocean aboard the Breeze. Our full day cruises take you to the enchanting Tortuga Island where you will enjoy a taste of true paradise.
