RAIN FOREST TOUR

No other tour gives you a more intimate view of the rain forest than a ride on a Tram. The open vehicle takes your through the canopy, skimming over hilltops, into the depths of the Costa Rican jungle. The ride stops several times along the way for close up views of birds and nesting sites. After 45 minutes you arrive at the end station and disembark for a walk along the forest floor. Refreshment or a meal can be taken at the restaurant.

PUEBLO ANTIGUO

Enjoy a bilingual show in which professional actors dramatize the most relevant points of Costa Rica's history at the turn of the century. Music, dance groups and masked mythical figures can be seen throughout this lovely theme park.

The tour takes you through the old capital city of Costa Rica, Cartago to the famous Lankaster Gardens, a tropical paradise featuring over 800 varieties of exotic orchids and various tropical plants. On the way back visit the beautiful and historical Orosi Valley and the Colonial Church., home of the Spanish settlers. The drive will take you to the mighty Cachi Dam, the largest in Costa Rica and then to the ruins of Ujarras, the second church built in the country. On thereturn, you will see the "Bride's Veil" waterfall.

HIGHLIGHT TOUR
POAS VOLCANO, SARAPIQUI RIVER & BRAULIO CARRILLO(Full Day)

After a delicious Costa Rican breakfast we will continue our upward journey to the Poas Volcano, a scenic drive past coffee and sugar plantations through a rain forest. Take a close look at the enormous crater with its deep green lake as you admire its immensity. Naturalists agree that this park has some of the world's most lush flora and fauna. As we continue on way to the famous La Paz Waterfall, we will cross the continental division and start descending towards the Caribbean, admiring the dense vegetation of the Braulio Carrillo rainforest and the unique beauty of San Fernando falls. We continue to Puerto Viejo, where our jungle motor boat will be waiting for our two hour cruise on one of the rain forest and farms of the Sarapiqui river.

PACUARE WHITE WATER RAFING (Class III/IV)

Year round trip, water level and difficulty of the river can vary significantly throughout the year. The most beautiful river canyon in the tropics will bewitch the adventure some beginner and the experienced rafters like. The Pacuare River cuts through one of the scarce pockets of wilderness left on the planet. We will stop for a picnic lunch on the riverbank.

What to bring: Shorts and towel, sun block lotion.


REVENTAZON WHITE WATER RAFTING(Full Day)
